Do you only handle dog waste?
Yes, we specialise in dog waste removal from lawns and yards. Our equipment and methods are designed specifically for this — we don't offer indoor cat litter or bird waste services.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not at all. As long as we can safely access your yard, we'll handle everything while you're out. No need to wait around — just come home to a clean backyard.
What if my yard hasn't been cleaned in a while?
No problem — our First Clean Free offer applies to yards with normal, regular upkeep. If your yard has heavier buildup (for example, it hasn't been cleaned in several weeks or months), we'll quote your first visit as a one-off deep clean using our Heavy Clean pricing. Once that's done, your free first visit on a weekly or fortnightly plan kicks in as normal from there.
Is this safe for my pets and kids?
Absolutely. We use pet-safe and eco-friendly practices. Our tools are sanitised between properties to ensure your yard stays hygienic and safe for the whole family.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
We work through most weather conditions — including Townsville's tropical downpours. If conditions become unsafe (like during cyclone warnings), we'll reschedule and get to your yard as soon as it's safe.
What areas do you service?

What is your booking policy?
Booking Policy: Poop Gone operates strictly on-site. We do not take credit card payments over the phone or book properties without a prior physical inspection by our team.
Do you offer commercial services?
Yes! We provide scheduled waste removal for a range of commercial and shared properties, including apartment complexes, body corporates, strata-managed properties, dog daycares, boarding facilities, and vet clinics. Service frequency is flexible — weekly, fortnightly, or as needed — and pricing is based on site size and requirements.
Do you maintain dog waste stations?
If your property already has waste stations in place, we can service them as part of your scheduled visit — restocking bags, emptying bins, and keeping them clean and tidy. Get in touch to discuss your site's setup.
What happens if you can't get into my yard?
Providing safe access to your yard on the day — including unlocked gates and pets secured — is the customer's responsibility. If we're unable to get in when we arrive, the visit will be skipped but still charged as your regular scheduled visit, the same as if it had gone ahead. If access might be tricky on a particular day, just get in touch beforehand and let us know.
How much notice do I need to cancel or change a visit?
There are no long-term contracts with Poop Gone — you're free to cancel or change your service at any time. We just ask for reasonable notice so we can update our schedule. The easiest way is to get in touch via phone, WhatsApp, or email as soon as you know.
Do you charge extra for 4 or more dogs?
Our Weekly and Fortnightly plans include up to 3 dogs at no extra cost. If you have 4 or more dogs, there's a $10 add-on — you'll see this reflected automatically in our Instant Quote calculator.
Do you offer sanitising or deodorising?
Yes — Sanitising / Deodorising is available as an optional $10 add-on to any visit. This is separate from the tool sanitising we already do as standard between every property; it's an extra treatment for your yard. You can add it in our Instant Quote calculator or just mention it when you get in touch.
Do you clean the whole yard?
Yes — every visit includes a full inspection of your yard and removal of all the dog waste we find, not just the obvious spots. It's a waste-removal service, not lawn mowing, hosing, or disinfecting the ground, so we focus on getting your yard completely poop-free every time.
